Fred Cooke has rapidly become a unique stand-up delivering a style of comedy that simply cannot be imitated. Fred writes and performs for Republic of Telly, The Cafe (as The Crazy Chef), & Watch Your Language (The Mad Professor).

He has also regularly been the warm-up act for many different television chat shows including The Late Late Show and The Podge and Rodge Show.

He even played the main role as Fergus in a series of recent Spar ads – seen as one of the country’s most successful advertising campaigns of the last ten years.

Kicking off 2012 At City Limits Comedy Club

2012 will bring an exciting new season at the City Limits Comedy Club.

On January 15th we have the Official Launch of our new website. It will feature never before seen video footage of some of Ireland’s most famous comedians like Tommy Tiernan, Jason Byrne and Colin Murphy performing some of their early gigs in City Limits.

Keep an eye out for this as you will given access to the oldest footage of Tommy Tiernan available, recorded here in 1998!! EXCITING STUFF!!!

In the New Year we will also have a workshop on how to get into comedy… and also one on how to laugh properly
