2000 has seen Sarah Kendall emerge
as one of Australia's most exciting and popular new comedy talents,
after garnering the rare treble of public, industry and media
acclaim for her first one woman show – "earthling" at both Adelaide
and Melbourne Comedy Festivals. She has followed that up with
stunning performances at the renown Just For Laughs Festival in
Montreal. Following on from all this, Sarah has also taken the
step of relocating to London where her unique, intelligent brand
of humour has charmed audiences and industry alike. Sarah has
certainly come a long way in a short time since beginning her
career in comedy during 1996 as part of Sydney Universities annual
"Review" show. Prior to this watershed year for Sarah she has
also successfully competed in various Comedy Competitions. In
late 1997 she was a finalist in the hotly contested "Comic of
the Year", and Canberra's ‘Green Faces' competition. In 1998 Sarah
went on to win the NSW State Final of the "Raw Comedy 98". In
the UK Sarah has already notched up successful performances at
Jongleurs and The Comedy Store, and is being featured on this
years Taboo University tour. Sarah is definitely one to watch.....
