Since turning pro in 1990, standup comedian Stewart Francis has
headlined in comedy clubs across Canada and the United States
as well as throughout Europe and South Africa. He is a regular
performer at all the top venues in the UK, including The Comedy
Store, Jongleurs and The Stand.
His US TV Credits include The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Stewart Francis was unanimously heralded as "the hit"
of the 1995 Molson Canadian Comedy Festival in Toronto, made
a return appearance at the
1997 Edinburgh Comedy Festival in Scotland, was a head writer
on the 1997 and 1998 Gemini Awards (CBC-TV) and was recently
featured in his own highly acclaimed episode of CBC-TV's "COMICS!".
Additionally,
Stewart has been featured on CHCH-TV's "Comedy at Club
54" twice, on CBC-TV's "The Nine O'Clock Show"
and on British television's "Live at Jongleurs" and
"The Comedy Store".
